He stepped out of the car and closed the door behind him; he sat on the trunk of the car and lay there for a while as the rain continued to fall on him. He was naturally cold so knew being beat by rain would have no effects on him but he was hoping that it would make him feel something. Not something as intense as how he felt in the car some minutes back but any feeling at all. The only way this was going to work is if he decided to keep himself at a distance from this woman, he was now sure he could do it. It was going to be hard but he was someone who made necessary plans and handled the difficult tasks assigned with care even though both of them had a nice moment. It was time for him to build a wall between them for the sake of both their safety.
