Chapter 13Before departing, Yuuki grabbed Ken and kissed her. In turn, Kenna held her for as long as she needed. “I’m gonna be fine,” she said when they disconnected. “You don’t have to worry.”
She scoffed. “Of course I’m gonna worry.”
“Hey, I have a chaperone now. Keep me from getting into trouble.” She brushed some hair out of Yuuki’s face. The short cut had grown long enough to fall into her eyes over the course of their trip.
Laughing a little, “I don’t think anyone could do that. Not even me.”
Ken kissed her passionately. She released her and took a step back. “I won’t do anything stupid, and Aster will make sure of it. I’m gonna miss you,” she admitted, “but I’ll come back and see you tonight, okay?”
Yuuki nodded. With a tinge of sadness in her voice, “Okay.”
