Sampsons POV We had discovered that the Gamma of the Dark River pack, Joshua, had recently purchased a house. Omar and Caroline had gone to scout the area to see if we could find anything. I sat by the phone waiting to see if there would be any word from Theo but nothing came through. My phone buzzed on my desk as I tried to concentrate on some pack work. I looked down to see a call coming in from Omar. "What did you find?" I asked. "They were definitely here" He said and Artemis whimpered in my head. "What do you mean were?" I asked him. "Their scents are faint. They must have left a few days ago man. I'm sorry" Omar said sadly. "Can you track where the scents go?" I asked him. "No we tried that but it's too faint" He added.
