Chapter 18The first week back felt more like two, with late nights reviewing for exams and another difficult experiment in the chem lab. This one was shorter, but every single team had something go bad on the first try. I don’t even know what we did wrong, but our solution turned cloudy and smelled terrible. We must have contaminated it with something, but I never did figure out what it was.
Friday night we both crashed before midnight, and we didn’t wake up until close to noon. A good night’s sleep is a wonderful thing, especially sharing a bed with somebody you love.
