“Are you sure that he will pick you up?” Mrs. Ludwig asked me with concern, and I nodded in response.
“Yes, Mrs. Ludwig. We will be on time.” I assured her again.
She took a deep breath and looked at me with a very faint smile. It’s really rare to see her smiling.
“You guys won the trophy last year, and I am sure that you will do your best this time too. If you face any problem at any time, just call me. I will be available to you guys all the time,” she said to me with that faint smile.
“I know, Mrs. Ludwig, and rest assured. We will do our best, and our ultimate aim is the trophy.” I once again assured her confidently.
She chuckled and then patted my shoulder before going away.
