1st chapter: Kidnapped
Charlotte "Char! I'm going to find you!" My older brother, Markus, yelled. I was hiding from him because I took some of his food and if you know my brother you know her takes food seriously Although he did see me take the food I ran fast so he couldn't catch me. The thing though is I'm not good at hiding. Just the running part. I was hiding (not that it counts) on the ledge by the outside window. How did I make it up? I just climbed out my window that was on the sixth floor of our castle and was on the ledge to the side of the window so I could see if he entered my room. I'm que he entered and automatically spotted me. "Char what are you doing? You could get yourself killed! Get in here now!" There was a hint of anger and a little bit of fear in his words. I looked behind me and saw a carriage that I could easily jump onto the top and not hurt myself. And by the looks I was getting from the townspeople I was causing quite a commotion. I turned and looked at him dead in the eye. And glared. I pushed myself backwards and fell. I loved the feeling. Being in the air without any restraints. By the way I acted you would think I was six but I'm actually seventeen. my back hit a mat with a thud and I looked up at my brother with his head out the window looking down at me. All his fear was replaced with chuckles and no more anger. I looked up at him and stuck my tongue out. The carriage kept going for about five minutes more and we arrived at the village. I got off the top of the carriage and patted down my dress. I then looked around and I was at the market. May as well do some shopping? For about thirty minutes I looked around and any time something crossed my eye I would tell the shop keeper to put it on my tab. It was always paid off at the end of the month anyway. I bought pants and boots. They were both black with gold on the sides and boots had a symbol of a dragon which got me thinking they were for riding dragons. We had dragons but only two since most people were afraid of them. One was bonded to my mother who passed recently and now it is depressed without her. Our father won't let us see her because of the memories that he thought of with our mother. The other one was bonded to my brother. He never really liked dragons but it grew fond of him so now Markus is riding her more. We got both of them female because we didn't want babies. Since it was growing later in the day I knew I had to head back soon. I went into a bar and went into the bathroom. I then got changed into the boots and pants. I also bought a black shirt from the shopkeep and it was long-sleeved and sturdy making my prediction to be true. It was dragon armor. I got it for a cheap price because they thought it was for horses. I got out of the bathroom and threw away my other clothes since I had plenty. I then did my red hair in a side braid. I came out of the bathroom and the barkeep known as Fauna said to me, "Girly you look like a dragon tamer!" I giggled a little at that and walked out. I started walking back home and when I was about to reach it the unthinkable happened. I f*****g on knocked out.
