CHAPTER 17
The sound of arguing woke Frankie. Not wanting his mate to be disturbed, Frankie slowly got out of bed and dressed. Stepping out of his room he could hear Illan. "Where are they now?"
"Five minutes out, sir," Another voice said.
"We need to get Manny out of here," Angelo said in a panic.
Frankie walked in as Illan shook his head, saying, "There is no time and Destrain isn't answering his phone."
"What's going on?" Frankie asked with a bit more force than he had intended.
Justice went to Frankie, saying, "Zev spotted some unknowns in the woods heading this way."
"How many?" Frankie asked making his way towards the door.
Illan grabbed for Frankie but he quickly turned, his eyes filled with fire. "Do not try and stop me.
My mate is in danger and I will defend him.
