There was a loud bang with the door open up. I sat up in the bed with Amolio looking a little out of breath, standing at the doorway.

“ Rosie…… we….. need…. you.”

I quickly got out of bed. Grabbing my jacket that was at the end of the bed.

“what is it Amolio?”

“It’s… Korrack.”

I pushed Amolio out of the way. Not knowing where I was going. I walk downstairs. Half way down the stairs, that’s when I heard it. Crashing and banging going on in the training room. Walking faster. As I got closer, I could hear voices.

“Korrack, where is she?”

“Where is who Edgar?”

“Edgar, you need to calm down.”

“Where is my daughter Korrack? I know you have her here somewhere.”

Florenca thought her world had ended the day her father passed away in front of her. Little does she know her father has a secret he didn’t tell her. Will she be able to figure out that secret or will her world stay the same as it always has?

Prologue
The weather was pleasant, with a clear night sky. While I was walking on the beach, a light breeze brushed against me. The scent of the sea was absolutely delightful this evening. As I walked along the beach, I thought to myself about how my life has changed so much, but yet it’s completely the same. “Amore mio, why are you still outside at this late hour?” “You frighten me so much, Mon guerrier.” “Apologies, Amore mio. That wasn’t intentional.” “I’ve been contemplating the events that unfolded in our lives and feeling incredibly lucky.” “Really? Would you like me to give you some space?” “No, Mon guerrier, you’re absolutely fine.” I took hold of him and brought him closer to me. He held me close, wrapping his arms around me. A smile just appeared on my face. I locked eyes with him while wearing a smile. His eyes are a stunning shade of crystal blue. Sadness was clear in his eyes. I had an inkling, but he would never confide in me about his sadness or anything. My warrior will never disclose what was bothering him. I would have to be looked into his head to find out what’s wrong. “We are moments away from the sunrising. Maybe it’s a good idea for us to go indoors.” “That plan seems like a good one.” While we made our way home, I observed him continuously looking towards me. He glanced in my direction about seven times; I noticed. At last, I found my voice and spoke out. “I’ve noticed you looking at me a lot. Is there a particular reason?” “Tell me, what is it I’m forbidden from glancing at, my lovely, seductive wife? I’m concerned about you.” “Why? What is the reason behind your excessive worry for me?” “You’re aware of my current state. Do I have to remind you why? I’m really not inclined to do it.” “You can rest assured that I won’t forget, so no need to remind me. How we came close to losing our loved ones and friends.” I could feel tears starting to gather in my eyes. The sensation of warm wetness trickled down my face. I was conscious of the fact that I was crying. I had a feeling this would happen. My entire body was consumed by a profound sadness when I considered the possibility of losing them, and my heart sank. “Amore mio, are you alright?” He pulled me close as he says this. “Why don’t you put your thoughts and feelings about our family and friends on punishment?” I remove my head from his chest and display a smile. I wiped away the remnants of my tears from my eyes. “You’re aware. You are absolutely right. I have scheduled to do that tomorrow morning. However, at the moment, we must enter.” The sun emerged from the ocean as we neared our house, casting a pink hue across the sky. Our residence resembled a chateau. The property comprised around ten bedrooms, with a bathroom in every room. Surrounding the outside was a wrought-iron fence with roses brushing against it, and a pathway lined with rose bushes. The shutters of the window were painted in a pale blue shade, while the walls were coated in a soft gray color with matching blue trimmings. Our house is situated on a cliff slope, providing an unobstructed view of the ocean. “Amore mio, I was thinking we could either have a great time together or pay them a visit in a week. “ “Mon guerrier, it would be amazing to go and have a great time with our loved ones.” I took hold of his hand and pressed my lips against his. Following the kiss I gave him. While running indoors, he dragged me along the entire way. Once we reached our house, I released his hand and hurriedly climbed the stairs, heading straight to our room. Just a short while later, Morifirer appeared with a tray holding hot tea and some snack cakes. He was conscious of the fact that he had raised my spirits. Whenever I’m feeling sad, he always knows how to make me feel better. He approached my nightstand and carefully placed the tray onto it. Next, he placed himself on the bed. It took me no time at all to complete the task of writing invitations to everyone I know. Once I had finished. I rose from my desk and headed towards the bed. I snatched the cup of tea that was hot. While gripping the cup, I took a small sip. I directed my gaze towards him. He had positioned himself on the bed at this point. My eyes traveled from his short jet black hair down to his black loafers. I couldn’t help but smile. “What thoughts are occupying your mind?” “My mind is occupied with thoughts about my entire life. I am extremely content with my life. It’s incredible that I stumbled upon you when everything in my life seemed so bleak.” “Amore mio, do you recall every detail of our lives and are you genuinely content with me?” I was taken aback since he never inquired about my happiness or our shared memories before. “It goes without saying that I remember everything that transpired both before and after you came into my life. Why wouldn’t I be happy in life with you? I’m overjoyed that you’re accompanying me. You’ve been my guiding light, and I’m grateful for that.” “It’s important to me that you are happy. I attempted to ensure that you have all the things you want or need. I feel like I disappointed you.” “In what ways could you disappoint me?” As I settled down on the bed, I directed my attention towards him. Our hands are currently touching. I took a deep breath. “I hope you won’t be upset, but I can’t help but feel extremely worried about you. My love for you is unconditional, and I never want anything bad to happen to you. You’ve gone through an overwhelming amount of pain thus far. “ “You have every right to protect me, Mon guerrier.” He brought my hand closer to his mouth and gave it a gentle kiss. I grinned at him with a sideways tilt of my lips. “I’m in a good place. The distance between us is something I dislike. All I desire is... All I desire is for it to revert back to its original state. The distance between us is so great that even visiting each other becomes complicated because of unwanted conflicts.” “Very well, Amore mio.” Rising to a sitting position, he tugged me closer and then gently kissed me, savoring each moment. Passion fueled every kiss that was exchanged. My blood was boiling for his touches. The more he kissed me, the more my blood boil. I rested against our bed. He removed the teacup from my possession and set it on the nightstand. Slowly, he places kisses on my neck. With complete knowledge of his intentions. I clearly understood his motives. In the midst of passion, I decided to take off my shirt. When he kissed my body, I felt a chilling shiver run down my spine. His smile resembled that of a Cheshire cat. I knew I was in trouble when he will give that smile.
