CHAPTER 8

Jo's POV

I groaned as I heard my alarm clock loud blaring sound. I might be a morning person but Mondays are not for me especially after sleeping like 4 hours ago.

Last night the guys left right after dinner saying the had plans with the girls. I was left talking to Daimen about the deal and luckily I was starting next week. He left like right after our talk. I wasn't really sleepy so I ended up watching my favorite series which is a bit addictive,who am I kidding that thing kept me up for 5 whole hours and this is not my first time .

Anyway I had to wake up although I don't want to so I reached over to my night stand and shut off the blaring alarm clock. I got myself out of bed lazily and headed to the shower.

It took me almost 5 minutes in there to freshen myself and dress in my casual clothes some jeans ,an oversized tee and my usual white sneakers. I might be going to work but I need to be comfortable yaah and I'm like invisible nobody knows I exist I get to work early and leave late so nobody even knows there is a janitor at the top floor except the guards at the front and the don't suspect a thing.

I took my car keys and left heading to my favorite cafe for breakfast,I never cook when the girls stay the night at their boyfriends. I took my regular breakfast some coffee,a fried egg and some vanilla muffins the one thing that makes my Monday better food.

"Goodmorning,"I said my greetings to the two guards I meet every single morning "good morning Jo how you doing"Matt one of the guards said smiling and giving me a high five .Did I forget to mention these two are my buddies coz they are but they have no idea who I am and that's how I love making friends. "I'm fine what about you two?"I said giving a high five the next guard Tom "We are also good,you are early today did your roommates throw you out of the house this time,"Tom said laughing and we joined him "no the weren't home actually ," we chatted for a while until I decided to go ahead before anyone gets here I do have alot of work to do.

It's been two hours since I started working and I was nearly done with the project when I remembered I have a meeting. Not actually in person I just give my dad Mr Banks the briefing of my projects then he will go to the meeting and I look at the reports later and maybe sign a contract if the is a need.

Speaking of it he was going to arrive any mi...my thoughts were interrupted by the opening door and my dad came in he was dressed in an elegant black suit with a white shirt ,a matching black tie and black shinny shoes.

"Dad I missed you so much,"I said as I ran over to him hugging him he lifted me up and swirled me around like when I was ten . I'm kinda short compared to my father,I took my mother's height same as my sister but my brother and father were very tall."How can you say you missed me when you don't even visit?"my father said placing me down with a pout making him look like a child. "Really dad didn't you even miss me," I said with my fake sad smile,"Of course darling I missed you but I don't know if you missed us enough,you didn't even tell us about your fake boyfriend,"I was actually shocked wait how does my dad know about this ,he shouldn't be knowing about this.

"Dad how do you know I have a boyfriend?"I asked in complete shock"waait did you put voice chip in my ear rings again?"I said cautiously holding my ear rings . My dad does that and say it's for our safety but it was kinda creepy knowing he was listening to every single conversation we were having so we didn't agree . A sly smirk on his lips made it clear"Dad!we agreed that was creepy,"I glared at him" I'm just joking"he said with a laugh "Then how did you know about my boyfriend?" "Um you mean fake boyfriend that's because I know you ,you don't risk getting exposed and let's see"he said tapping his chin "he is the most determined person to find the secret CEO of LEEJO enterprises and second you don't go for billionaire playboys you are just like your mother,"he said with a smile "then what is she doing with you," I said with a teasing smile and his face dropped"yeah mom told me ,"I added with a smile "don't tell her I told you it was supposed to be our secret,"I said with the same smile on my lip seeing my father's face after such information then it changed when his evil smirk came "you are going to be in so much trouble if I tell her" "what makes you think she'll believe you I'm her daughter,"I asked"she will if she listens to the voice chip in your ear rings,"my dad said running out of my office into the elevator and I followed behind "daad you will be the reason I stop wearing ear rings,"I said in frustration"love you princess I have to go or I'll be late for the meeting,"he said waving as the elevator doors closed good thing this whole floor is sound proof so nothing was heard.

As soon as I settled down on my desk my phone pinged indicating a message from my mother

- hi princess when are you coming to visit your old mother and tell me about your fake boyfriend-mom

- I'll e coming soon I promise- me

- Is it that obvious he is not real - me

- we'll talk about this when you come you have alot of explaining to do- mom

- ok mum see you soon bye love you-

- love you too-

As soon as I was I kept my phone away, another message pinged from my computer an email that actually made me nervous a business proposal from BLACK industries .. Daimen's company ..ooh this is going to be harder than I thought..
