CHAPTER 13

Jo's POV

I yawn as  I shut my laptop and keeping it in my bag,can't afford leaving it it has alot of important information about me . I'm so freaking tired I've been working since I got back from lunch and now I'm just worn out the worst thing about it I look worse than I did during lunch. I just placed my head on the desk with my palms supporting it when my eyes couldn't stay open any longer. I was woken up not long after placing my head down by a hand tapping my back and another grazing through my hair gently .

"Let me sleep Tina I'm tired,.."I croaked half asleep without even looking who it was , "wake up love or we  are going to be late for our date,"I heard his voice which startled me and now I was fully awake.

Oh s**t I totally forgot about the date . He just laughed at my startled face "you should have seen your face while you were sleeping," he said trying to control his laughter which just annoyed me.

"That face will always be in my mind or my new home screen wallpaper,"he said wiggling his phone in front of me oh s**t I looked terrible my messy hair looking like a birds nest my mouth partial open and worst of all I had a nmustache on my face . What is wrong with this man how did he even become the CEO.

    "Nooo you will delete that this instant,"I said keeping my voice as serious as possible as I tried to reach for his phone "no I will not"he said with his evil smirk moving his phone higher , why is he this tall I groaned when I couldn't reach it.

     "Come and get it love," he said smiling as he stretched his arm higher ,"really Daimen haven't you tortured me enough by now"I said pouting

  "Not yet"

"Fine" I groaned grabbing a chair and placing it next to him and climbing into it and tried reaching to the phone.

"Hey! No fair you are on a sit"he said pouting " but you are taller," I answered in the same time if someone didn't know it was the two of us they'd think we are ten years olds arguing.

He started moving backwards and I started following him while still on my chair  both if us laughing it was actually so fun . I like this side of him and I mean alot this is not the guy I met at the park this is the playful guy I now know as a fake boyfriend. I finally managed to take his phone to delete the photo but before I could his hands grasping on my waist and I was lifted from the chair next thing I know I'm in his arms ,he is looking straight at  my face smiling, a smile that I've never seen before. He looked more handsome right now I just feel like kis. ...no no no what the hell am I thinking,I shouldn't be thinking this ,omg brain come back to earth I miss you .

  He was still holding my waist looking at me then my lips when the door opened I sighed in relief seeing Lily at the door shocked but she quickly scrambled out of the room noticing our position. "Be ready for the date...I'll pick you up at 6:30,"he said placing me down and walking out without another word.

I took my bag and walked out to find Lily at her table looking at me with a smug smile I'm sure she is waiting for details "nothing happened"I said sighing looking at her " I walked in on something so u can't lie to me woman ,"she said with the same smile raising her shoulder playfully

"Stay with what you saw cause I ain't telling"I smile when I see a frown on her lips "anyway I have a date to prepare for" saying that I walked away but didn't miss the smile on her face"bye Lily "I waved"bye I'll call you I need deets " she said laughing and I got in the elevator to the parking lot into my car and straight home after some donut stops.

I just finished dressing and it was only 6 o'clock I still have thirty minutes to spare and obviously I'm not wearing a dress ,I'm  wearing a black jeans some gray t-shirt tucked in the front some black sneakers and to top it off I black leather jacket as for my hair,I tied it in a high ponytail from my sense of fashion I look nice .

I still had some time so I decided to take my laptop and finish some work before Daimen could arrive. The thirty minutes passed so fast if it wasn't for the impatient ringing of my doorbell I couldn't have known "I'm coming!"I shouted annoyed from my room as I rushed to open the door to find the person I was expecting.

"Hey," he said looking at me "hey yourself"I said smiling"I thought I told you to wear a dress ?"he said looking at my outfit"what made you think I'll listen to you"I said back smiling"let's just go or we are going to be late ,"he just sighed while saying"where exactly are we going?" I asked curiously , he just smiled and walked away "it's a surprise,"

    Although I hate surprises so much I decided to just go along with it . We got to his car and he opened the door "ooh gentleman I'm impressed"I said with a laugh "get in or I close the door"he said in a monotone and you say I have an attitude I thought as I entered the car arrogant goose.

The car stopped in front of a fancy restaurant which is not actually my thing I never like them like ever but I just decided to go with the flow . We walked in and we were taken to the third floor which seemed like a romantic scene for normal people but guess what I'm not normal.

I was looking around not tat amazed cause I've been here when I was a kid my dad used to bring us here every weekend he rented out the whole floor for our family together with Tina's family.

"So I suppose you like it," he asked as soon as we sat down

"Not so much I don't like fancy restaurant"I answered cooley and his face dropped.

"But this is a girls dream date fancy restaurant good food with their loved ones?"

"But I'm not those girls I don't like Fancy restaurants and you are not my loved one,"I said and he didn't answer we just sat in silence as we are our food.

"This is by far the most boring date I've ever been to and I've never been on a date for real though"I said breaking the silence which was killing me

"But Madi liked this kind of stuff for dates,"he said

"Like I said I'm not Madi ,"I sighed as I finished the food "can you take me home now?"I asked as Pushed my empty plate away standing up but a hand holding onto my wrist stopping me . "It's been like less than an who's going to believe this?"he said anger visible on his face "let them believe what they want ,just tell them you have another place to take me or something"I said in a near whisper

"Do you think they are dumb they are going to follow us,"I groaned as I sat back down this is why I never want to be famous people never leave you in peace.

"Can you just like pretend you are enjoying someone is watching,"he said still angry from the glare he was giving me "but I'm not,"

"I said pretend like this thing is all about,"

"Sure but I'd rather do it when I'm alone I'm heading to the bathroom it's not like they are going to follow me,"I said standing up and taking my phone with me  anyway that's all that I came with.

I stood in the fancy bathroom staring at the mirror lost in my thoughts when I was interrupted by an old lady tapping on my shoulder"excuse me young lady care to share why you look so sad?"she said concern plastered on my face I just nodded my head implying a no"thank you for your concern but I'm going to be fine,"I said smiling at her ,I really like her and I feel so much better.

"One thing I know for sure is that the guy you are with is not your boyfriend,"her words just shocked me what the hell how obvious is this  "and from the look on your face I now know it's true,"she added making me frown .

"It's okay sweetie if you didn't want anyone to know I'll keep your secret but you have to promise me something,"I just nodded in agreement"I've seen the way you argue there is something between the hate you show to each other find it before it's too late," she said and I just gave her a confused look "what does that mean ?"

"Figure it out and when you do I hope we'll meet someday,"that was all she said before she walked out leaving me puzzled what the hell is that supposed to mean.

Just as I was about to get out my phone vibrated from my pocket and I answered it.

"Hey girl how you doing" my happiness was cut short when I heard sniffles from the other line "why are you crying did my brother hurt you?where are you I'm on my way"I said concerned about my best friend "no he didn't hurt me "sniffle"I'm fi.." "no you are not fine where are you I'm on my way"sniffle " I'm at your house" "okay I'm on my way"

I went to  the table and I couldn't find Daimen so I just paid the bill and walked out hailing a taxi but then I saw Daimen with a girl and they are kissing . I felt a sharp pain in my heart ,am I  jealous..no no no Jo just shocked I reassured myself as I got in the cab and went home my best friend needs me.
