CHAPTER 11

Daimen's POV

This morning wasn't the best for me but when has it ever been since she left me . Last night I saw her kissing some other guy , how could she have moved on this fast. She did cheat on you sooo..came my inner self and I blocked it out before it could make my day worse .

In the office I had to pretend to be happy because of the fake girlfriend charade with Jo. It was working pretty well but I came back to my normal self as soon as Ms Williams left but Jo's act surprised me .

She was teasing me which made me angry at first due to my foul mood but that was her happiness to see me angry. I gave into her something I barely do to anyone not even Madison. I wasn't going to let her off the hook that easy anyway so I made my own master plan to make her uncomfortable as hell she'll regret ever doing that to me.

When she came to my office she acted as if nothing had happened I eyes her every move until she was about to leave. I made my steps steady and quiet enough sneaking behind her and before she left she turned to excuse herself and I too the opportunity and pinned her against the wall.

I didn't miss the horror on her face when I did that."what are you doing?"her voice came with no stutter but it was clear that she was uncomfortable I shot her a smirk and leaned closer to her ear "what do you think I'm doing love ?"I said love with half a whisper" do you think I'd let you off the hook that easily,it's payback time love,"I said whispering directly to her ear and she shivered a bit. I was glad I had an effect on her,I moved my face from her neck which smells really good by the way . I looked at her straight in the eyes but I couldn't any other emotion apart from shock in her eyes so I decided to lean in. I wasn't going to kiss her obviously, not just because the contract says so, I don't want her first kiss to be at the wall next to my office door. I care.

I lifted her chin and right now she seemed horrified . Our faces were only inches apart when we heard the door open and we jerked away. "Mr Black I'm sorry to interrupt you but the investors are already in the meeting room waiting for you,"Ms Williams said a bit ashamed it's seems like she was something"Ms Williams have you ever heard of knocking?"I said with my voice a bit harsh and I didn't miss her flinch"I knocked bit I guess you didn't hear me so I had to confirm if you were really here but I'm sorry Mr Black,"she said lowering her head "it's okay and tell them I'll be right there,"I said and she nodded and left.

"As for you I'll deal with you later ,"I said in a whisper as I leaned in to Jo's neck"but right now we have a meeting to go to,"I said in my normal voice and smiled at her taking my files and leaving the room her following me after heading to her office taking her stuff.

Jo's POV

I was in the meeting physically but my mind was still at the incident that happened a few minutes ago in his office. Thanks to Lily I'm safe who knows what he was thinking.

While doing the teasing in my office I thought it was a one time thing but I guess not. I have never been that frozen in my life normally I'd just push the guy away,yes that has ever happened to me and I didn't react this way. Oh s**t what is happening to me .

The investors were still settling in the room which gave me all this time to think .I was seated next to Daimen across the investor who seemed in his early thirties and some other 5 people . I was still deep in my thoughts when I felt a hand on my knee and I jumped a little but composed myself before anyone noticed and gave Daimen an angry stare "really you're doing this right now"I mouthed him with a death glare and he just smirked at me ,what the hell is wrong with this man, before I could say anything the meeting started, slapping his hand off ,I moved my chair slightly away from him concentrated on the meeting.

The meeting was finally over cause I was tired of him placing his hand on my knee just to tease me but it was slapping it away. He was first to stand and talk to the investors while I just sat down gathering my things ready to leave, I stood up and walked away but I was stopped when I collided with someone

"I'm so sorry,"I said looking up to a face I don't recognize that much but I guess he was in the meeting I don't know cause my mind wasn't concentrated to the people there.

"It's okay beautiful,I like it when ladies beautiful ladies collide into me ," he said and I didn't miss the pride in his voice, ' he is a bit good looking but too full of himself'came my inner self ' true ' I thought . "Ok I'll be leaving now and I'm sorry again,"I said trying to step away from him but he moved to block my way.

"Hey what about you me and dinner tonight it sounds fun,"he said starting to irritate me so much but I hid it in a fake smile "I'm sorry but I can't I'm busy" I said trying to be as polite as possible"what about tomorrow,"right now this guy was starting to get on my nerves take a hint I don't like you "not interested,"I said again with the same fake smile "then what about.."he was about to say something that could have really annoyed me but thanks to Daimen I didn't get to insult his pretty ass face "she said she isn't interested,"said Daimen placing his hand on my waist making me shiver a bit,"and by the way she already has a boyfriend so f**k of if you don't to leave with a broken nose ,"he added making me smile and the guy just walked away leaving the two of us in the conference room.

"Thank God you came or he would be walking out of here with a broken face,"I said smiling at him " now you can get your hands off me he is gone,"I added trying to remove his hand from my waist but his grip just got tighter ,"I told you I'll finish what you started and here I am," " he said smirking at me as he moved closer pinned me against the wall but this time I was prepared "move!"I said in confidence but inside I was kinda scared "what if I don't "he ask and I just smiled ,"you'll learn how painful my knee on your balls feel like ,"I said and he let go instantly,I smiled at him sweetly as I exited the room heading to my office when Lily came in front of me with a huge smile "you still joining us for lunch?"

Wait it's already lunch time how long have I been in that boring meeting I took my phone and checked it was already 12:30 wow didn't think I could sit for that long, congratulations to me . "Obviously,I'm starting to feel hungry"I said and she just giggled "they have chicken right?"I said stopping halfway and looking at her she nodded and we proceeded to the cafeteria.

I ordered my 6 piece drum sticks of fried chicken along with some noodles and Lily was surprised from the look on her face but she didn't voice it and Lee me to her friends.

"Heyyy guys guess what?"Lily said but before anyone could speak she continued "she is the new assistant covering for Jenny and boss's girlfriend isn't this interesting?" She said with her energy.

"Hey "I said nervously I know you are surprised I'm a really shy person when it came to meeting new people unless you are rude to me or a b***h on our first encounter and these guys seemed like none of those things especially if they are Lily's friends. "Ooh we got a shy one ,"a blonde guy with a blue eyes said which made me blush a little bit but hid it before anyone could see it " I like her already if she's eating lunch with us ,"a red head next to a blonde girl with a sweet smile said "unlike the previous b***h," I quickly got what she was talking about and that made me like her more dang looks like that b***h got alot of haters nicee.

"Hey!don't talk about her in front of.."she didn't finish but I could see her thumb pointing towards me "it's okay I don't like her either,"I said right now feeling the more confident around them "so I'm Gracie ,he is Jack, she's Dianne and the other guy isn't here he is always late," Gracie the dark haired girl said with a sweet smile.

"I'm.."I was also ready to introduce myself but before I could Dianne said "we know you boss's girlfriend the only woman who made boss say good morning to Lily ,how do you do it," I just chuckled a little as I bit through my first piece of chicken and swallowing it so sweet "how cold is he ?"I said taking another chicken piece ,"colder than liquid nitrogen"Lily said faking a shiver and we all laughed.

Our conversation went on and by the time ten minutes were over I was done with my food and we were talking as if we've known each other longer than a year.

"Wait Jo ?how did you finish your food so fast and do you eat like this every day?"Lily asked eye my now empty plate when she had barely eaten half of her food "I just love chicken and yes I do eat like this every day," I said "the last time I ate healthy was last week when I visited my mom ," I added "how are you not yet fat ,"Dianne asked shocked "I have no idea,"I said and we all laughed this went on till it was time to go back to work and I had to let go of the fun friends..
