Authors POV

Their gaze was broken by Mr Banks words ,"so you two know each other?" His acting was quite nice "yes she is my girlfriend," Daimen said making Mr Banks fist to clench he was angry because he knew this guy was using his daughter in this fake thing and he has the audacity to tell him his girlfriend."so how do the two of you know each other?"Daimen then again asked eying the both of them Jo just stood nothing in her brain,no excuse to use just the fear of being discovered she still wanted a longer time of peace and quiet no attention from people she doesn't know luckily Mr Banks could see right through his daughter's fear so he thought of something quick.

"She is a very nice business woman ,I was friends with her mother and also my son recommended me to her because of her excellent knowledge in the business world," he said his words proudly,he actually didn't lie he is friends with her mother and she also has excellent knowledge of the business world.

"Yeah Brad asked me to help his father and since I was free I didn't hesitate to do so," Jo said making the explanation more convincing and it looked like it was working Daimen seemed convinced .

"She does have a talent in business" Daimen said nodding ,"Anyway I'll be heading out now see you next time Mr Banks bye Daimen," Jo said packing up her laptop and jacket ready to leave when Daimen held her back and placed a kiss on her temple leaving Jo shocked same to Mr Banks he again clenched his fist he loved his daughter and wasn't going to allow this man to use her. He was ready to beat him but his daughter saw and shook her head lightly telling him no and with that he held himself back . Without another word Jo left the office and the two men remained one with a smile the other with angry eyes trying to hold himself back.

"So when did you two start dating?"asked Mr Banks

"Just a couple weeks ago," Daimen answered in the most casual voice

"If you break her her father will kill and don't get me started with her mother she'll skin you alive if you break her beloved daughter and the brother and sister will kill you," mr Banks said trying to frighten Daimen and it looked like it was working so he smiled inwardly seeing his slightly frightened face but he regained his posture like nothing happened ,this man can hide emotions quick,mr Banks thought.

"I won't break her,"

"You better not,"

"Anyway I wasn't here to talk about my relationship,I'm here because I got some questions about leejo ," Daimen said adjusting himself on the seat

"I'm sorry I can't help you with that ,"mr Banks said sitting on his chair and taking some files on the tables .

"Mr Banks I just want to ask if ..."

"I said I can't help you I can't say a single thing about the leejo ceo all I do is handle the meeting after getting an email and if I'm busy I give them to my son," mr Banks said in a calm voice and Daimen just nodded then left after saying his goodbyes.

Daimen's POV

"If they can't help you it means they don't know or trying to protect the identity," Stan my private detective said , I don't know why but I've been obsessed with finding the so called secret CEO of leejo ,maybe it's just because of curiosity but if you ask me why I just don't know but I just want to," I suspect mr Banks might not know because he said something about receiving an email," I answered back ," but why would he want to help someone he doesn't know," he said reasoning out with me ,it actually makes sense why would he ."okay Stan keep investigating if you find something tell me ," I said and with a short reply of okay I hung up.

My drive back home was actually pretty long mostly due to slight traffic . I arrived home at around 4 o'clock,I collapsed on my bed once I reached my room I'm so tired I worked all morning and it did not take long for me to fall into a nap .

I was woken up by the ringing of my phone ,I stretched my arm to reach it and answered without looking at the callers Id ,"hello," I heard my mums voice from the other line ,"I want you guys here for dinner at seven ," she said and hung up before I could even answer . I rubbed my eyes as I looked at the time it was thirty minutes to six so I texted Jo telling her to be ready by half past six with an okay for a reply I placed my phone on the bed walking in the bathroom,I took the least time possible and I was done in less than ten minutes dressed in a brown suit taking my car keys and heading out .

Few minutes passed I was already at her apartment ringing at her door ,"ooh Daimen you are here ,"Tina said right after opening the door and ushering me in ,"is she ready?"I asked and she gave me a sly smile making me want to turn back ,"I couldn't make her wear a dress but she is stunning," she whispered and ran to Jo's room I guess leaving me in the living room all alone her words replaying in my mind then finally a door opened from behind me and I looked back too see Jo and my jaw just dropped, although she was dressed in the most casual wear ever ,she was looking gorgeous maybe because of her hair,it was the first time I've ever seen her hair down. It makes me want to make her mine forever,

hey guys I've been busy this week sorry for not updating but I'll try my best to finish the book before I go back to school,
