Rylee’s POV:
We had been trapped in this place another night. I didn’t know what time it was but it was daylight again so I knew it had been over 24 hours since we first arrived.
Pale and ugly hadn’t been back to visit us since our first encounter, and I was perfectly fine with that. We would just occasionally have someone bring us food and water, make sure our restraints were sturdy, then leave.
I was finally starting to feel normal again after whatever they drugged us with had finally worn off. Anna was a little bit of a different story.
She could barely move. I guess it had a worse affect on her than it did me. She was terrified and homesick, and it was written all over her face.
