I let out a moan as we flew over the trees. We had long lost the desert of the south. The claws were hurting my stomach and I'd no doubt have bruises when this was over. Hours. We have been flying like this for hours with not a word being exchanged. It was aggravating to say the least. Anger and fear were bottled up inside me and, unfortunately, there wasn't another dragon around. I should have known. The south was never going to be on our side. The dragon started to dip down and I instantly held my breath before it was taken away from me. We dipped quickly and fast before gliding above a river. I looked forward and frowned. We were coming up to a cave that looked to be cut into the side of a mountain. The dragon dropped me at the entrance and I landed hard. I held in a gasp of pain as I stood and faced Erin as he jumped off the dragon that wouldn't fit in the opening. "Hello, Princess," he said as he grabbed onto my arm and started to pull me into the cave, "isn't that what your father used to call you?" "You're not my father," I spat at him, "nor my friend." "Be that as it may," he said as the light of the sun seemed to fade and I was surrounded by darkness, "we still have you." "We?" I asked as his hand left my arm. It was dark, too dark to see anything, "Erin?!" "Remember me?" A voice, no, voices sang and laughter followed. "Nezzura," I muttered as I scrambled back, trying to find the way we came in. "Silly girl," the voices said. They seemed to be surrounding me, there was no where to run, "thinking you can outrun me!" I screamed as I felt hands on my shoulders as I struggled to get away. No, not today. Not like this...
