Especially Erin

I took her away...to the house I grew up in after the marriage. She had a dreamy look on her face when she made her way through the house. She was sure to pick the biggest room for us and even then she didn't seem to be able to keep the smile off her face. That, of course, made me smile. The house was much too big for me and Elizabeth. Upon her request, I looked into other ways to put the house to use. We were both busybodies, the type of people that couldn't sit still for long. It was when we were approached by a man traveling down the road that ran parallel to our house that we realized its potential. He begged for a place to stay after the sun set. The forest was said to be haunted after nightfall. We gave in immediately after he offered to pay for our services. It took us a total of two months to get it ready. It was easy to buy and transport the materials because of the dragon. The rooms all had beds before I stepped foot in it again. It took Fergus a month to find me and Erin and Maxwell came soon after. None of them seemed happy. Especially Erin. I opened my eyes and blinked a couple times. Wow, I thought, I was still on the floor. I was still leaning against Felix, who was still asleep with his head through back against the side of the bed with his mouth hanging open. I let out a soft giggle as I tried to get up. The movement didn't wake Felix up but he did tighten his arm around me. I sighed as I slumped back down. "Felix!" I said loudly. He didn't budge. "Felix!" I said louder as I elbowed him in the ribs. He jerked awake and shot a glare at me. "That hurt," he told me as he stood and stretched. I laughed as I stood as well. I was shoved on to the bed and Felix plopped down beside me. He smiled as he wrapped his arms around me and dug his head into my hair. "Felix!" I complained loudly as I struggled against his strong arms. "No!" He replied. "I'm warning you," I told him as I arranged myself so that we were face to face. He raised an eyebrow before pecking my lips. "Warning me?" He asked with a told of his head. I gave him an evil smile as I dug my fingers into his sides. He yelped as he released me and rolled away. I laughed as he rolled off the bed before his head popped up over the side with an evil grin. "You're going to pay for that," he said as he lunged towards me. *** "Anything?" Jade asked as she fell in step with me as I headed towards the kitchen. "Nothing especially exciting," I told her, "just confirming our suspicions that Erin was long crazy and that he had a weird thing for my mother." "Gross," Jade said as she shook her head. I glanced at her. Since the fight, she had kept her hair. It was short like Felix's. It was a soft brown that went well with her eyes. "Hello," Maximus nodded at her as she passed by his room. She nodded with a soft smile as we kept walking. She noticed my eyes on her and I could see her blush through the paint. "What?" She asked with a scowl. I shrugged as I stepped into the kitchen. I ducked as pan flew above my head. I was about to question Potts when I noticed who she had thrown it at. With a sigh, I stepped between the two woman and turned towards the newcomer, my good mood instantly disintegrating.
