My body was trembling despite myself when she rudely tugged my arm and sank a needle into the skin near my gland. I watched as my blood shooting through the transparent tube connecting the needle.
My voice was hoarse when I opened my mouth, “Are you trying to kill me, Clara? I was just sent to the hospital because of anemia.”
“Haven’t the vitamin B12 shot the doctor just gave you worked? I’d say this is a perfect timing,” Clara played a small scalpel blade in her hand as she gave me a vicious smile, “Don’t move around if you don’t want more blood spilling, Lola.”
