ADRIANNA’S POV

My chest tightened, my breaths coming out in short quick silent gasps to keep up with the overwhelming surge of fear and panic that enveloped me as I struggled to push that dreadful memory to the back of my mind. That was a nightmare I didn’t want to remember again for as long as I lived.
The pain, the agony, the misery, the torment, the despair that came with it was so raw and vicious it felt like razor blades dragging through my chest.
