I would always remember that day,it was a rainy day, dreary and dark. I was locked in my room, huddled under the covers cold and scared, I could hear the screams, whose I didn't know, but I knew death was coming for me. The door burst open and frantic steps made their way to my bed tugging off the covers
"Alan, my baby, come, we've gotta run", My mom said pulling me up, she was covered in blood, I couldn't ask if it was hers as she carried me out and made her way downstairs "Close your eyes my boy", she said quickly and I did burying my face in her neck.
I don't know for how long she ran carrying me but I knew we were in the open, I was cold and she was trembling,
"Mommy, aren't we there yet, I'm cold", I asked quietly as I looked at her face drenched in sweat,
"Almost there, should we stop for a while?"
"Yes mom, you are sweaty and trembling", She laughed and stopped dropping the boy to hug him tight,
" I love you my heart, I love you", she sobbed,
"Yup, who else would you love, don't cry mommy", Alan said as he rubbed his face against hers,
"My big boy, I need you to wait here ok, I will be right back", she said as she choked on her tears,
"ok, I will wait right here for you, don't take too long mommy",
" I won't, I'll be right back ok", Alan nodded and she ran off after planting a kiss on his forehead.
I never saw her again, they came for me and brought me to him, he said he was my father, Pierce de Bourgh and I was his son, that my mother had kept me away from him and I was his heir.
I asked for my mother, he never answered. Is she alive? Is she dead? who killed her if she's dead? My life began to unfold, death and pain surrounding me, If only anyone could save me from his clutches....
This is my first ever book and this is a short prologue, I hope everyone finds it interesting ??♀️
