Chapter 21: The Thomas Sady Property
It happened again. Jax Sinn entered my office at his agency and demanded, “I want to have my way with you, Victor.”
“I’m right in the middle of closing a deal. Our client is supposed to call me back at any minute to buy the Redmond house.”
“Leave it. Come with me.” He pulled me up and out of my chair and forced me to follow him out of the office. “My Hummer is parked outside. Get in. No excuses.”
“But, Jax…my client…our client.”
“It can wait. If the buyers want it, they can hold out for another hour or more.”
I followed him out of Sinn Realty, ended up in the parking lot, and climbed into his Hummer. Before I knew what was happening, we were driving away together.
Panicked, unsure, frazzled, I asked him, “Where are you taking me?”
