Giovanni looked up from his phone, tucking a gun in his jacket and one in the back of his pants. “I want you with me. I’ve increased the security, so Caterina will be fine.”
I knew she would be safe, but I hated to leave her. The last time I left her she had been taken. Giovanni and I would find Connor and be done with the sleazy bastard. “Let’s get him.”
The ride over to the abandoned school was quiet. The school had been closed down ever since a senior in high school murdered a young teacher, he became obsessed with.
