Chapter forty-seven: Are You Fit To Rule?

I heard what Sophia said clearly enough but when she didn't say it again, I understood she said it on impulse and seeing the way she was reacting to me asking her to repeat what she said, then I dropped the topic. I didn't want to make her uncomfortable. I wanted to actually hear her repeat what she just said but still I wasn't ready for what her words would mean. I don't even know how old she is.
I am not a man that acted on impulse neither did I want her to do anything against her will. That was how much I cared for her. She was relieved when I asked her to continue with her story and that was just all I wanted to see on her face. Calm and peaceful, nothing more than that. I could wait for as long as it takes till she is comfortable
