PROLOGUE
Prologue
In a world where sound shapes the very fabric of existence, there lies a forgotten land, Aethera. Its beauty, its power, and its harmony once thrived under the influence of a sacred melody, the Song. The melodies of Aethera were carried on the winds, rippling through the leaves and vibrating through the earth. But over time, the Song faded, and Aethera was lost, hidden from the rest of the world. The land’s magic dimmed, and the balance of the universe began to unravel.
In a small village far from the realm of Aethera, Lara—a mute girl—has always been different. While others speak, she is silent. Her world is filled with quiet, yet in the stillness, she hears the Song. At night, when the winds stir and the moonlight dances across the trees, the melody calls to her. In her dreams, she sees a city of floating islands and mystical beings, playing instruments that seem to echo through the very fabric of existence.
But the Song is fading, slipping further into oblivion with each passing day. The villagers believe Lara is cursed, unable to see the truth—that she is the chosen one, the key to unlocking Aethera’s secrets.
As she walks through a field of tall grass, the whispers of the Song grow louder, urging her to follow. The sound guides her, even as shadows loom in the distance—dark forces known as the Dissonance, determined to silence the Song forever.
Lara must journey to restore harmony, where silence holds the answers, and the Song is her only guide.
