The day wore on. Doyle paced the small grove incessantly, which did little to help the waiting while Helena tried to focus on the picture book Ajay loaned her. The pictures were mostly reproductions of grand paintings from various ancient Sanskrit texts. Helena thought the pictures riveting if not entirely helpful. As far as she could tell, they were idealized representations of events as passed down by word of mouth over the centuries. How differently would her actions be viewed if only passed down over hundreds of generations by word of mouth?
