“Do you know how embarrassed I was at that time? You ….. you should have given me a heads-up about the resemblance between your husband and Vincent. I screamed ghost like a fool,” Martha scolded me while putting her hands on her hips. She was angry with me and I couldn’t blame her for that though.
“Don’t forget to tell the part where you jumped on Hunter while screaming ghost,” Bennett teased her while adjusting my IV drip, but her statement took my attention completely. “You did what?” I immediately asked Martha in a shocked tone. Martha glared at Bennett immediately.
Bennett giggled and opened the drawer to get my medicine. “You really jumped on Hunter?” I asked Martha in the same tone when she didn’t answer my question. “What do you expect from me in that situation?” M
