Chapter Fourteen Callan let Aileen work on the ancient computer in her cupboard-like room. The space closed in on him, but she’d said if the drive contained some corrupt files, better to sacrifice this computer than his. He agreed, especially since he had no clue how a small pen drive could ‘corrupt’ a laptop. Blast, he sounded worse than his father! Arms crossed over his chest, he stared at the computer screen as Aileen clicked. She reached somewhere near her feet and plugged the pen drive in.
