"Hey," Nichole said chewing gum so annoyingly.
"I'm here to see Noah," I say ignoring her annoying existence.
"Noah is in a meeting," she said making sounds with the gum in her mouth.
"It's urgent," I say even though I have nothing in particular to tell Noah. I now have a reason to be here. Nichole is his secretary and it never occurred to him to tell me.
"You can go in," she said picking a nail file from the desk and filling her nails. I ignored her and went in the door.
When I opened the door I saw Noah sitting there his face deeply buried in the papers before him. He hadn't noticed me. I closed the door gently and walked to his table. I cleared my throat and he looked at me.
"Hey," I say nervously.
