Cutter: Naddy been asking about you all day. You gonna come back?
Cutter: She thinks we're all lying to her and you're avoiding her. You gonna let her think that?
Cutter: She's been waiting in the common room all day for you to come back.
Cutter: What did she even do to make you ignore her all day after everything you'd done to get back on her good side?
I stared at the messages Cutter'd been sending me all day. I didn't tell anyone aside from War that I was taking off for the day. He didn't ask, just respected my privacy. Of course, he has no idea that anything is going on between me and his sister. Not that anything is going on. Not really. Not outside of Naddy pulling her innocent little tricks.
My sunshine's tricks are innocent.
