Maaga pa lang, kumilos na ang mga nurse at doktor sa ICU. May briefing muna bago nila galawin si Axton. Isang resident doctor ang lumapit kina Tita Addie at Uncle Marco para ipaliwanag ang lahat.
“Mr. and Mrs. Aguilar, it’s good news po. The vitals of Mr. Axton Aguilar is already stable. His oxygen saturation has improved, and there will be no continuous IV medications needed. Fever is also starting to subside with the antibiotics. Since his condition is no longer critical, we will transfer him to a VIP private room where he can continue to recover and be with his family.”
Ramdam kong nabunutan ng tinik si Tita Addie, halos mapaiyak na naman siya sa ginhawa. Si Uncle Marco naman, tahimik na tumango, pero kita sa mga mata niya ang pagluwag ng bigat sa dibdib.
