Eva...
Eva was in the process of Marinating stakes in traditional Asian sauce. It has been one of her favorites since college. Jennifer had brought the recipe back with her after her spring break in Japan to visit her father. Eva walked towards the fridge to grab red and green peppers from the fridge to begin dicing them. When to doorbell rang.
Eva wiped her hands on her apron as she hurried to answer the door. Eva's face was flush with excitement. Eva opened the door to revile a devilishly delicious Dominic holding a bottle of red wine in his hands. "Hey" Eva spoke as she stepped aside so Dominic could enter her home.
Dominic knelt in front of Eva grabbing her hand in his hand bringing it to his lips. "Hello to you too" Dominic spoke as his lips brushed over the delicate skin on her hand making Eva's core begin to tingle in anticipation of where tonight could leave them. Naked, entertained, and breathless in her bed consumed in pure ecstasy.
"Please come in" Eva responded in a meek attempt at distracting herself before she dragged Dominic into her bedroom and ripped him from her clothes. Eva had no idea what was coming over her. Eva like s*x as much as the next person but she never had a need to ravage and ravaged before.
"Something smells delicious" Dominic spoke as he placed the wine bottle on the small entrance table and began to strip his coat off.
Eva couldn't help herself as she watched Dominic strip off his coat. In one fluid motion, Dominic had removed his coat to reveal an orgasmic worthy body. Muscles defined his arms making her flush in the face with lust. Dominic wore a grey t-shirt that wouldn't normally cause her arousal but Eva could feel her black lace thong become moist. Eva didn't think she'd make it through dinner and conversation.
"Eva?" Dominic asked with his back to her. With no response, Dominic wrapped his coat around his arm and turned to face her. Eva didn't realize how close she had got to Dominic until her was an inch away from her face. "Eva?" Dominic asked again.
"Sorry" Evan replied as she shook her zombie-like state. "I'm marinating some steaks in the kitchen, it's a recipe one of my friends got from a spring break trip to Japan when we were freshmen.
"Oh, well it smells delicious" Dominic responded while tilting his head to the side. A smile spread across his face as he finally understood why Eva wasn't currently present in the moment. Dominic reached a hand to her face and tilted it to his face "How about we have a glass of wine" Dominic spoke while tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
Started Eva attempted to distract herself with the rules of the company. Food, drink, and conversation. Anything that followed that would have to do just that, follow it. "Sounds good" Eva finally responded "there are coat hooks behind you if you'd like to hang hour coat up" Eva spoke directing Dominic to the old brass coat hooks that decorated the wall between him and the entrance to the main living space.
"Awesome" Dominic replied. Eva retreated to the kitchen to busy her hands and reached for two wine glasses in an upper glass cabinet. Eva could barely reach the glasses and though she might break them. Taking a step back Eva kept her ears peeled so she could listen for the Dominic approach.
Dominic appeared behind Eva pressing himself against her back. Eva could feel his chest on her back as he leaned above her and grabbed the very glasses for the cabinet. Eva's heart was racing. Not only was she aroused, but the man moved like a panther starting her. "Thanks" Evan respond.
Dominic placed the glasses in front of her so she could grab them. Dominic pressed closer to her as he whispered in her ear "Your Welcome"
Eva couldn't respond as the hairs on the back of her neck stood up and her body arched into Dominic. Eva could feel the budge in Dominic's pants grow harder. "Wine?" Eva asked as she grabbed the wine glasses and turned in the small space between Dominic and the counter.
"I thought you'd never ask" Dominic smiled as he took a couple steps back to allow her space to move.
Eva approached the kitchen island and placed the glasses down near the cutting board where vegetables waiting to be cut. "How was your day?" Eva asked Dominic who was now sitting across from her on one of four island stools.
"Ah, it wasn't bad. I couldn't do much manual labor in the office not after you bruised my shine in the grocery store this afternoon with your cart" Dominic laughed as he watched Eva retrieve a bottle opener and crack open the bottle he brought.
Eva smiled at the lightness of his joke "If you'd like after dinner I could take a look at it and fix it up for you" Eva passed him his glass of wine and winked at him.
Dominic smiled as he grabbed the glass from her hand "I might have to take you up on that offer" Dominic paused as he placed the glass down. "I've got a couple busy days ahead of me and need to be in top shape" Eva laughed.
"Okay, I hope your hungry" Eva spoke as she assessed the mass of food in front of her. "This recipe is very versatile it is good in almost any way. I do have a bbq in the back if you're in the mood for late-night bbq?" Eva asked.
"What did you have in mind?" Dominic replied as he squinted his eyes in curiosity.
"Well we could do steak and veggie kabobs, or bbq steak with potatoes and veggies or we could just use the oven in here" Eva paused "I'm open for anything tonight" Eva smiled as her cheeks flushed. The comment made her body temperature rise as the comment made her think of a few positions in the bedroom she has always been wanting to try.
"Well I wouldn't mind bbq" Dominic smiled "Kabobs are always good"
"Alright, kabobs it is then, " Eva replied.
"Well then I propose a toast," Dominic said as he raises his wine glass to the air "To knew adventures and lasting memories, " Eva smiled but raised her glass in response.
"I'll drink to that" Eva spoke while they clicked their glasses and downed a healthy amount of wine.
Eva and Dominic spent the next forty minutes prepping and cooling on the bbq. Drinking and laughing their asses off. The more wine they seemed to drink the harder it was for both of them too keep their attraction for one another under wraps.
Nearing the end of their meal Dominic decided to ask a big question. "So, Eva why did you move to New York City?"
"My parents died when I was little and I grew up in foster care. When I turned 18 I got a package from my birth parents with a letter and all my birth records and a little bit of information about them. I was born here in New York but all my records we're changed saying I was born in Texas" Eva paused as she picked up her plate and reached for Dominic's. "I moved out to learn more about them and to get a job and make a life" Eva spoke with a somber tone.
"I see" Dominic replied as he walked toward her. "I know a few guys in high places. If you'd like I could connect you and maybe do some digging" Dominic replied and began helping Eva clear the mess from their food.
"Actually that would be perfect" Eva responded. "You're actually the first person I've met since officially moving her"
"What do you mean?" Dominic asked.
"Well, I bought this place last year and hired some guys to di the renovations. It just wasn't my style. I love the place, location and the backyard was a big selling feature for me, but it was too high-end for my likings. So I made it more homey while attempting not to diminish the value" Eva spoke.
"I see, I've done that before. I bought a ranch out in Wisconsin as a present for myself so I could kick back and relax. Needed a more homey feel as well" Dominic added.
"I didn't picture you as a ranch type" Eva responded.
"There's a lot you don't know about me," Dominic said "You just met me"
When the dishes were cleared, Eva went to the fridge to grab the bottle of wine she opened before Dominic arrived. Pouring herself a fresh glass Eva brought the bottle over to Dominic glass and poured him some more wine as well.
