Max...
Yesterday Max had gotten word of a rogue attack on the L.A wolf pack, that could threaten all five of the Blood Moon packs across the United States. Apparently, there is a group of rogues that believe in the old legends of the Blood Moon Prince and will stop at nothing to hunt and kill their packs in hope of finding the girl from a prophecy, born of the sixth bloodline of the Blood Moon King and his Goddess Bride.
Since the five sons split from the royal court to create their own packs across the United States, there have been detailed records of all pack members and their family trees. Over the course of the first three centuries of the New York Blood Moon wolf pack, the royal alpha line had become extinct due to rogues, betrayal, and diseases.
Max was sitting in his office on the pack lands outside of New York City. The pack itself owned about 100,000 acres of land outside of city limits. Most of which was all bush terrain and waterfront property. Max swiveled in his black leather office chair to admire the view. Behind the house, there was a clearing that gave an amazing view to 100-year-old trees. Wildflowers scattered throughout the clearing like the stars in the sky. Max remembered when he was a boy he would sit on his father's lap in his office while he explained how the trees came to be. Freshly planted by his great grandfather as a present for his wife, when she became pregnant with my grandfather.
Max returned to his attention back to his handcrafted desk that was probably older than the trees outside. Max was just about to dive into some documents that Dimitri had faxed over, transcriptions from the rogue integration since yesterday, when the phone rang.
Startled Max reached for the phone on his desk "Hello?" Max asked into the receiver awaiting a response.
After a few moments "Hello Alpha Max! This is Alpha Dom from the Bear Creek Pack in Italy." Alpha Dom paused awaiting his response.
"Hello, Dom! I'm glad you were able to get back to me on short notice. Your beta explained to me you were busy attending to Alpha Jeremiah's funeral. Sorry for your loss." Max paused.
"Thank and same to you Max. Your father died alongside mine" Dom replied to Max's condolences. "I'm only returning your call because my beta informed you that you stumbled on some developing news and how it might pertain to the rogue attack that happened here" Dom continued awaiting Max to Elaborate the situation to him.
"Yes!" Max started "Their was an attack on the L.A pack during a scheduled meeting to review recent and passed agreements between our packs. When their compound was attacked by rogues. Little to no casualties, however, were able to capture some of the injured rogues before they were able to escape with their group." Max paused reaching for his coffee and taking a sip. "Out of the three rogues captured only one was talking. He was speaking gibberish and they were not able to get much out of him. He kept repeating the same thing over and over again. They were sent to destroy the blood moon packs, and search for a girl from a prophecy. She is supposed to rise into power and destroy the rogues. They are hoping to do this before her rebirth on her 29th birthday." Max paused.
"I see. And you think that this has something to do with the attack which happened here?" Dom asked attempting to put the pieces together but drawing an empty blank.
"I do. I was looking through my fathers notes that we're in his journal before the attack happened. He has the girl written in it with question marks around it and a scribbled letter beside it. I'm guessing that when he was writing to elaborate on it, that was when the attack took place." Max paused. "I just wanted to see if you had any idea what they were intending to met about. It just can't be a coincidence that they were both killed while talking about a girl, especially when rogues show up to kill and the rogue captured says a girl is to rise into power to stop them and everything the blood moon prince has worked to achieve!"
"That would be one hell of a coincidence if you ask me if it was just that. I think you might be on to something though. Are you able to fax me everything you have for review? I'll ask some of our neighboring packs if they no anything and to be wary about possible attacks. also, I was planning to go over some of my father things before his wake today."
Beep Beep Beep
Max stared at the phone in his hand "Hello? Hello? Dom are you there" Panicking Max dialed Alpha Dom's number into his phone but it went straight to voice mail. Breathing Max dialed Dom's cell phone number and again straight to voice mail. Trying a different plan of attack Max decided to call his bets and thirds cell phone but nothing.
Max thought something had happened so Max grabbed the Folder they had on the Italian Bear Creek Pack and looked up emergency contact numbers. Max found three numbers. Each number belonging to an Allie pack as up to date as of two days before father flew over form a treaty meeting. Max dialed the numbers and spoke to their Alphas explained the situation as well as the information regarding the recent rogue attack in L.A.
The alphas agreed to phone if they he's covered anything and we're sending fighters over if necessary. Max also agreed to inform then should he hear anything for Dom himself.
Max hoped Dom was okay.
