Eric’s POV
He saw us from the windows of his office properly, just as mine, they are floor-to-ceiling. I swallowed hard the lump in my throat, then turned back to look at Lucy with pitiable eyes.
“What’s that?” She snapped, suspecting that something was wrong after I peered through my phone.
“The Alpha says it's a private meeting with him and you'll have to wait for me in the waiting room, okay?” I didn't want to make her feel bad, she reluctantly accepted. “I promise to tell you everything he says when I come out.” She gave a smart nod.
