“Lucy, I think we can choose to forget about what he just said and go about our normal activity as a couple? We had a lot of plans, didn't we?” Eric asked, to which I nodded.
“Who knows, the Alpha King might not have made mention of me getting some other girl as my Luna, but he just formed this up. What he would love to tell the king.”
This hit me deep as I guessed it could be true. I shook my head, flinching my hair. I was ready for whatever was going to happen. Life as I saw it wasn't gonna be a bed of roses, that's for sure. I saw no need to give up easily.
