I glared at Kade as he led the way with a smug grin. My hand touched my lower lip that he had just bitten as if I was some kind of food he could not resist.
Either way… I ran to him and walked behind him. The thought of probably knowing someone at his workplace crossed my mind. If I had one, then it would be good news since I could have another source of information about my married life with this man.
When we entered the building, the employees immediately greeted Kade with a bow of their heads even though he was just at the door. Well… I could not blame them. Even from afar, this man exuded authority so if I were an employee, I’d try my best to either be on his good side or be that worker who remains unnoticed and just does my job.
