Looking around, the state in which everything was, confused me even more. Where the hell was Ember? I had to find out where she was. There was no way I was going to have peace if I didn't find her.
But then first, I had to calm down, the dead body on the floor indicated that she was safe as I could still feel the negative energy in the air. I looked around trying to find more clues.
But then no matter how much I looked, I just couldn't find anything. Apart from the men who were dead and the seemingly intact cottage, everything else seemed to be fine.
The claw marks on the trees made me frown as I could tell that it was done by an angry wolf. I wanted to study the claws as there could be more clues there, but this wasn't the time.
