"You've been through a lot in the last few days," he said, his tone compassionate. "Let's just take a moment to breathe and relax. Do you want to sit down?"
Chloe nodded, and he led her to a comfortable chair in the corner of the room. She sat down, and he sat across from her. For a moment, they sat in silence, just allowing themselves to be still.
"Let's talk about what's been bothering you," Kryos said gently.
"I think I need some rest," Chloe said, her voice quiet but firm. "I've had a long day, and all this emotion is tiring me out." Chloe was contemplating whether to tell him she's living their world or not, she decided not to tell him since she doesn't want anyone to persuade her.
