THE ROGUE ALPHA & HIS LUNA

On my 18 th birthday mom and dad were soo excited for me to get my wolf they invited all the neighboring packs,witches and vampires.. I couldn't understand why they would throw such a huge party for just turning 18 and getting my wolf.. Mom said it's just something she planned on doing since I was born and there was no way in hell that i would get out of it.. And my dad being in the palm of ny mom he could only obey his luna and wife.. Which is funny my dad is feared his aura displays dominance and power which makes werewolves bow.. Mom said dad is the second werewolf who has such an ability and the power to even make other Alpha's bow for him i wonder who is stronger than dad. but he turns really soft and gentle in front of mom which is so cute and weird for me... The only reason that am not so overwhelmed by the guests that my mom and dad invited is to find a mate that i have been dreading for. i can't wait to meet my wolf just thinking about her makes me all jelly inside i bet no one has been as excited to meet their wolf as i am.. Mom always told me a mate is a better half.. Its a gift to us from our moon goddess which makes us stronger when we have a fated mate.. mom and dad have the type of relation i only wish the moon goddess Would grant me.. Lost in my own thought while getting ready for my birthday party i couldn't here the knock on the door i was startled when i felt mom standing beside with a huge smile plastered on her face.. "kira are okay you seem lost is there anything you want or need today we are here for you" she whispered slowly "I want to live with you and dad forever" i answered with a grin. She smack arm playfully "we would love that darling but every bird lives their nest in your case i hope he is someone close enough darling" she murmured softly while pecking me on the cheek... I knew my mom wished that i would find a mate in our pack i hope so too.. Mom was one of the best elite trainors in her pack before she met my dad Alpha zack. She used to tell me about their first encounter and how she fell in love with him and mom hopes i find a mate who thinks of me as his equal. Mom admits she misses her old pack but she says " life without you and your father and this pack its not life its hell" Remembering the little things my mom used to say warms my heart i have the best mom and no one can argue with me on that she is my bff... I have friends don't get me wrong am not loner. Am kind of a nerd but i don't look the part i have my moms wavy black hair and my dads crystal blue eyes and my moms height she is 5.6 which makes me 5.2 being the shortest she wolf in our pack house.. My friends tease me with the height difference. "kira are you listening to me young lady" she asserted in a serious tone which made me focus right away. "yes mom am just nervous" i told her how i was feeling. Being truthful though i can't shake this nervousness away.. "its fine me and your dad will be with you the whole time" she said as she gave me a smile and a motherly hug I know for a fact the guest list is huge but i can't help but complain about how unnecessary all this was really.. But if they didn't invite half of the southern region and some elite alpha's and their luna's for the North, east and west region. how would i find my mate now that is a win for me.. But am thank full that our pack ball room is large enough to guest nearly 5 thousand guest. "kira my child you are the only daughter born into this family in three generations your dad and i wanted to invite the entire country but our pack house can only guest 3700 people so we were not are lucky" she complained "but still mom...before i could say she intervened. " hush child you will be late for your own birthday party don't you want to meet your mate soon "whispering the the last part. she knew that i waited for this since i was 15 and she was mocking me with it a she smirked at me while winking at the same time my mom was weird sometimes i can't understand her.she isn't as tough as people make her to be. Dad once told me he always prays and thanks for the mate the moon goddess gave him.. I just want to feel that I sheepishly smile at her and went to wear my beautiful gown that was hand made for me by my one and only friend Camila it was a beautiful white lace gown with crystals which hang on my waist with sleeves that were covered with white and baby pink rhinestones.. I came out of my dressing room after lightly applying make-up and wearing my heels.. Mom gasped in surprise. "oh my dear princess" i heard my dad say from behind us i guess he might have entered while i was busy changing i went to hug him. "dad how do i look i asked as i moved away from his arms which were still holding me" "like the princess you are now let's go the guests are waiting for you i want them to see you" he peeped with a huge smile on his face. He took both our arms and snaked his arms around. mom on his right and me on his left i felt happy and blessed to have them.. We went down stairs hand in hand with smiles displayed on our faces as we entered the ballroom it was huge covered in white and gold crystal and beautiful huge chandeliers that hanged from the ceiling the guest were dressed in the most expensive gowns and suits they all turned to look at me i felt shy having that much attention on me that was just overwhelming i just stared at my feet while the guest came forward to wish me happy birthday.. I looked up to see my dad holding my chin and he whispered " don't show them you are nervous keep your head up and face like a true Hayes we never look down" i nodded in agreement with a smile on my face. As we walked dad kept introducing me to people i couldn't keep up with all the names and the positions they held i just kept nodding.. I can't wait for this to end. I sighed inwards while having the brightest smile on my lips. "hi Kira am alpha Chris you have grown so much since i last saw you" said in a gentle voice he extended his hand to greet me i took his hand and greeted him. I didn't know what to say to that so i went with how a normal person would respond to that. "nice to meet you Alpha chris" i answered i don't remember him but from the looks of mom and dad they know him well enough for him to comfortably call me by my first name and from the stares of others i believe he is from a powerful pack He look about my dad's size but he wasn't built like my dad. my dad was 6.5 with broad shoulders and dark brown hair. But He was kind of small in muscle and had black hair but his luna was the most beautiful luna i have ever seen other than my mom. But her eyes looked sad and she looked like she was somewhere other than here am good at noticing people's behaviors. She then introduced herself.. "dear nice to finally meet you am luna kate" she smiled. but why do i have a feeling she is hurt just by looking at her brown eyes. People's eyes hold a lot more than you expect that's what my nana used to say. what if her mate abuses her what if she with him not on her own will. I will ask mom later about her as i brushed the thoughts out of my head. Then one look at her and i felt the urge to hug her which shocked my parents and alpha Chris.. I didn't pay attention to the gasps i was getting. luna kate hesitated for a minute but embraced me in a warm motherly hug why am i getting this kind of feelings towards her and then she let go of me as she went to hold her mates hand and i proceeded to greet other gets. After my dad introduced everyone which took forever i was exhausted i sighed and looked at the time on my phone it was almost midnight. I heard soft kind but strong voice i didn't know where it came from. So i went to garden and waited anxiously "kira its me your wolf we finally meet" i rushed out of the party while mom and dad were busy conversing with other alphas they meant when they said they were gonna be by my side the whole time.. I knew who the voice was finally my wolf she spoke again and introduced herself " am mira your wolf i think you know that now" she answered " Yes i know finally its nice to meet mira" happily exclaimed and our names rhyme now that is awesome!! And i also felt that mira was excited to meet me..
