CHAPTER 6 Peytra found little satisfaction in the drafts she’d created until she finally visited Marcus. It’d been years since she’d heard the stories of the Polodians, and her memory was clouded by all the stories she’d heard since then. What surprised Peytra about Marcus was how young he was. She pictured an elderly, bent over figure would be the Duke’s librarian. Instead, it was a tall, good-looking young man just a few years older than herself.
