A forest, flowers that glow, a castle in the distance, glowing people….light people?
Why does it feel like I know this place?
“...emy”
Is someone calling me..? Ren?
There was a bright light and the light people stood aside… who is that bright glowing woman?
“..lemy”
What’s this noise??
I can see the bright glowing woman holding out her hand in the distance….she is saying something…
“Remember, … … …ht. Alemy.”
What…wait. Who are you?
As I hold my hand out to her, everything turns dark.
“ALEMY!!!”
I startle and open my eyes, I am in my bed, my alarm has been ringing the whole time and Ren has been calling me on the other side of my door. Just then did I realise that I had been holding out my hand…as I got up I also realised I had been crying. Why? As I slowly came to my senses, I heard Ren, “Hey! It's already 7.30! Get up lazy, we will come late to class and if you don't wake up I will get cold water and wake you up in 5 seconds! Oooonneee…”
“IM AWAKE!!!” I screamed as I scrambled out of bed and put on my uniform at lightning speed. When I opened my door, I saw him standing against the doorframe. As always, pretty handsome, dammit. “Good Morning. Already our second day in high school and we would have been late tsk tsk!” Ren says, grinning . I just smile and run to the bathroom to get ready as fast as I can and we go out.
“I was calling you for a solid 5 minutes! Why didn't you wake up? …. did you have that dream again perhaps?” he asks, looking slightly concerned.
“Yeah…” I sigh, “I've had it since I can remember dreaming…dreams? It got even more detailed today, I saw…” I trailed off, remembering the woman, she said something to me.
What was it?
I also remember that this dude ran off like crazy yesterday after I told him about my dreams…
“Why did you run off yesterday?” I asked.
“I had an….appointment at the dentist, I forgot..” Ren says…totally unsuspicious yes.
I want to ask more, but the moment I open my mouth I get tackled by, of course, Yuan-ha.
“GOOD MORNING!!” she practically screamed into my ear. If I wasn't awake yet, then pretty sure, I am wide awake now.
"Good Morning Yu, always full of energy…hey gimme some of it!" I said, smiling. The conversation with Ren got interrupted, but I will definitely get him to talk another time.
While we walked the rest of the way to the school entrance, I finally spotted the other girls already waiting. Before Yuan-ha can even tackle one of them, they dodge gracefully and she pouts. Typical Yu..
We greet each other and laugh till we reach class. History class, ugh. The day gets even better and better ahahah…
During lunch break, we sat down at our usual place near the big tree on the ground. "So we are gonna get some bubble tea at the mall, right? I heard they have got some new flavours. I NEED to try them!!!" Yu says. "I also saw their pictures on Insta! I want the haribo ice tea!" Lorelee states excitedly. Jul just giggles and nods "Sure, but our goal is to collect everything we remember about the…thing that happened yesterday! No shopping!" she added sternly. We all just giggle at her trying to be strict and finish our lunch boxes. "We can't stay long anyway. Me and Yu both have Weapons Class today…if both of us don't show up, our Shifu will let us run laps…" I say, already getting goosebumps thinking about running laps while holding the weapons ahaha…
"Sure, but I doubt it will be too long. We didnt...teleport...this sounds so wrong...ugh anyway, I meant to say that we couldn't see that much anyway. It was only for a second. But we will still try to find out more. I literally couldn't sleep at all, thinking about what that place was." Jul stated and we all just nodded. The bell rang and we went back to class. I was behind the girls and as I took the first step up the stairs I felt horrendous pressure. It felt like thousands of ants crawling up my spine. I had goosebumps and was drenched in cold sweat immediately. What.
The girls didn't seem to notice anything and continued up the stairs. I was petrified, because the pressure was mortifying... I needed to get away, was my first thought. Mauve finally seemed to notice the missing member and turned around. "Hey Al, you OK? We have Math Class now and you know how the teacher doesn't like it if we come late." She didn't notice? The pressure is overwhelming... "I.. I think I'm gonna go pee before class! You guys don't need to wait for me and go up already." I said, and I could finally move my limbs again to navigate myself into the bathroom. I was alone in the bathroom and the stalls were empty. I splashed some water on my face and tried to calm myself. The only thing I could hear was my heartbeat reaching my ear. Thump thump thump.
The pressure and this ominous feeling had already vanished, but I still felt as if someone was there. I felt as if darkness engulfed me. Why didn't the other girls feel it? Am I finally going crazy? Ugh...I rubbed my face and tried to calm down. It's better if I don't mention it for now and I hope I won't feel this again. I must be tired. Yes, I'm just tired... I took a final glance into the mirror, assuring myself I looked fine enough to go into class and left the empty bathroom stalls. Except, they were not as empty as I thought...
"It seems our search has finally been over. We found one of them. A light warrior." The man clad in dark emerged from a small black portal, stepping into the empty stall at the end of the bathroom. A smirk on his face.
"Well, well, well...my king will surely like the news."
