Chapter twenty-two
The whole clan stared at me with grins on their faces.
"Welcome back Eddy," Jessica declared.
Wow. It felt like a whole year.
David moved closer and gave me a hug, patting my back as he looked at me, "Marshall told us you messed up."
I glanced at my muse who shrugged in innocence. Turning back to David, I nodded, "I know right. All for a girl who broke my trust."
Clinton seemed the most disturbed as he frowned at me, "You mean Elizabeth? The one we made out with?"
I tilted my head, "Yep. She's the one."
Marshall groaned and glared at the both of us, "Yeah you just had to remind me of that nonsense." He stared at the clan, "Can you believe Clinton possessed my host and made him make out?"
That seemed so fine to me. Until the smart one gazed at us in wonder.
