Imperfect me

   I had just gained admission into the university of Nigeria, Nsukka. I was 17 at that time. My mum had insisted I stay in the school's hostel cause I'm a girl. She feared the danger of allowing me stay in a lodge where males stay. I was so happy cause I just graduated  from college, so I didn't waste time in entering the University, after 6 years in a boarding school. I was so happy to be finally out in the world to be able to meet new people with different behaviors. Of course, I can say I met both the good, the bad and the ugly. I was in the department of biochemistry. I made a best friend by name maryRose. She was like a sister to me. She was a friend, a mother, a guardian we did things in common. In the hostel where I stay, I squatted with a friend cause I wasn't able to get a hostel of my own. Everything seemed normal. Being my mom's favorite, I always called her to tell her how my day went. I tell her absolutely everything that happens to me in a day. I related well with my roommates there was one who was my favorite roommate by name Ruth. She was a computer science student. She made me feel at home, she was more like a mother to me she was in hee finals in the University.       One a certain day, I was on my way back from the lecture Hall alone, when i heard a guy hissing at me continuously. I turned to see who the person was. It as a guy, he was  about 7 feet tall, handsome, dark with beard and I loved his colone. He immediately beckoned on me to give him my number which I did without hesitation. Of course, I knew what attracted him was my nice shape or should I say, my perfect body figure. This was really love at first sight for me. He called me later that night, and we chatted and talked all night long. little did I know that it would end in tears.
