Chapter 1( The Story began)
They say life flashes before your eyes when you die.
But for me, it was a book.
The same one I had read a thousand times — The Prophecy of the Silver Flame.
I was 19. A nobody. A girl forgotten by the world, just like the side character I always related to — Elira Vane.
I didn't fight death. I welcomed it like an old friend.
But death... had other plane
A Stranger in Her Skin:!
A sharp breath.
My eyes flew open.
I wasn't surrounded by white hospital lights or machines. I was lying in silk sheets, beneath a canopy of moon-stitched curtains. The scent of lilacs and burning herbs filled the air.
What... is this?
I sat up. My body felt light, too graceful to be mine. My hands — pale, delicate, with silver rings on the fingers — were not mine. A mirror stood across the room. And when I looked...
I saw her.
Elira Vane.
The quiet noble girl who served the future queen.
The one who was meant to die protecting someone who never remembered her name.
And now... I was her.
> "Lady Elira," a soft voice called from outside the door. "The prince is waiting."
The prince?
The same one who would later break hearts, burn kingdoms, and fall in love with someone else?
My heart pounded.
This wasn't a dream.
This was the beginning of a story that was never mine…
But it might be now.
Maid (nervously knocking):
"My lady, are you... well? The Crown Prince is waiting in the east garden."
Elira (confused, whispering to herself):
"Crown Prince? Rael...? Wait — this is the scene before the royal banquet... Elira was supposed to deliver a message and then—"
Maid:
"My lady?"
Elira (faking confidence):
"Yes, yes. I'll be there in a moment."
(She stands, her legs shaky. Everything feels unreal. Her thoughts are spinning.)
Elira (inner monologue):
Okay. Breathe. You're in Elira's body. This is real. And Prince Rael? He never even looked at Elira twice... This meeting wasn't even in the book.
Why is he asking for me...?
Elira :anyways now I have to go to the banquet and act like Elira...
Scene shift — East Garden
(The garden is quiet. Moonlight filters through tall, glowing trees. Prince Rael stands there — cold, elegant, unreadable. Dressed in black and silver, his back is turned to her.)
Rael (without turning):
"You're late."
Elira (nervously):
"My apologies, Your Highness."
(He turns slowly, eyes like storm clouds — grey, cold, sharp.)
Rael (watching her closely):
"You look... different."
Elira (heart pounding):
"Do I... offend you, Your Highness?"
Rael (steps closer):
"No. But you used to tremble when you spoke. You don't, now."
(Elira panics inside. Has she already changed too much?)
Elira (quickly):
"I... just had a strange dream. It made me realize life is short. I shouldn't be afraid to speak."
Rael (pauses, then smirks faintly):
"Hm. Strange dreams... It seems the stars are restless tonight."
(His tone is unreadable. He's not supposed to be here. Not supposed to notice her. Why is he... staring?)
Rael (after a moment):
"Elira Vane... I want you to stay close during the banquet tomorrow."
Elira (shocked):
"W-What? But I'm only—"
Rael (firmly):
"You heard me. Don't disappear."
(He turns and walks away, cape sweeping behind him.)
Elira (to herself):
"This... wasn't in the story. Why is he changing his lines? Why is he noticing me?"
(She looks up at the sky. The stars seem to flicker strangely — like they're watching.)
After that,everyone left.
Maid came to her and said, "Lady, let's go now," and then she left but still thinking about what happened today...
After that, Elira went to her mansions
and went to her room, took off her clothes and put on a nightgown,
Elira..lying on the bed, thinking about what to do now, why she had come here, what she do now.Thinking all this, she fell asleep
Scene: Elira’s Chamber – Morning before the Banquet
Maid Lira (knocking softly):
"My lady... you have a visitor."
Elira (still in bed, confused):
"A visitor? Who... at this hour?"
Maid Lira (whispers nervously):
"It’s Lord Caelan. He insisted it was urgent."
Elira (sits up quickly, inner monologue):
Caelan? The queen’s cousin? He never even acknowledged Elira in the book. What’s going on...?
Elira (aloud):
"Send him in. And... bring tea."
(The maid nods and leaves. Moments later, Lord Caelan enters — tall, golden-haired, with a lazy smile that doesn’t reach his eyes.)
Lord Caelan (grinning):
"Lady Elira. You look... different. Did the stars visit you too?"
Elira (tense):
"The stars? I don’t understand."
Lord Caelan (stepping closer):
"Oh, but I think you do. You’re not the same girl from last week. Something's changed."
Elira (steeling herself):
"Why are you here, Lord Caelan?"
Caelan (voice dropping):
"To warn you. Stay away from Rael. He notices things others don’t... and he’s not the only one watching you."
(He turns without another word and leaves, his cloak brushing the marble floor like a shadow.)

Back to the Scene: The Royal Banquet – That Night
(The grand hall glows with crystal chandeliers and enchanted fireflies. Nobles chatter, music plays softly. Elira stands near a pillar, scanning the crowd.)
Elira (inner monologue):
Okay. Stay calm. Just like the book — Elira gives the letter to the Queen’s attendant and disappears. That’s it. Don’t mess this up.
Voice (from behind):
"You weren’t planning to vanish again, were you?"
(Elira spins to see Prince Rael, standing far too close, a glass of wine in hand, expression unreadable.)
Elira (startled):
"Y-Your Highness. I was just—"
Rael (interrupts):
"Thinking about running. Like always."
Elira (defensive):
"I’m not running. Just... trying to stay out of trouble."
Rael (leaning slightly):
"Trouble has a way of finding people who try to hide."
(Elira tries to step back, but Rael places a hand gently on her elbow.)
Rael (lower voice):
"That dream you mentioned yesterday... tell me. What did you see?"
Elira (heart racing):
He’s not supposed to ask that. He’s not supposed to care. What is happening?
Elira (carefully):
"I saw fire. Betrayal. A kingdom drowned in blood. And... a silver flame."
(Rael freezes for a moment — his eyes narrowing.)
Rael (quietly):
"You shouldn't know that."
Elira (voice shaking):
"I told you. It was just a dream."
Rael (softly):
"Dreams are just memories you haven’t lived yet."
(Before she can respond, Queen Seraphina enters the hall, silencing the crowd with her presence. Everyone bows. Elira lowers her head — but not before she sees Rael give her one last unreadable glance and vanish into the crowd.)
Everyone left and Elira was left standing there alone.
After a whil....
Maid came and said, "Lady, do you want anything?
Elira ( stare at her )
I need to rest. I'm going to my room. Send me a cup of tea in my room.
Maid ( nodded)

Scene: Elira’s Chamber – Midnight
(Elira sits at her window, staring at the stars. Her reflection in the glass flickers for a moment — but it's not hers. It’s the original Elira’s — sad, hollow, fading.)
Elira (softly to the reflection):
"I don’t know why I’m here. But if this is your story... I promise, I’ll live it better than they wrote it."
(The stars above pulse once. As if they heard her.)
