Falling for Miss Clumsy

Rosaline's pov ''You're fired, Miss bernardes. How many times do I have to tell you that customers are always right?!.''  booms Mr. Richard banging his fist at the desk in front of him and I can't help but wince at the sound.  ''But Mr. Richard, he was being ru...'' I responded but got quickly cut off by him. ''I don't care, Miss Bernardes. I told it to you the very first day but you just don't listen!''  He shouted once again pointing at the door indicating I should already leave. I glance over him and see his beefy face bright red with anger. He's fuming and it's all because of me but I don't regret it though, I hate being wronged without no reason. Turning my back at him, I excited his small office with my head held up high, and a smile on my face. I won't let it ruin my day. Passing my fellow workers who got a pity smile on their faces, probably feeling awful about me as it is only the third day I joined in this department store and in this three days I got called at Mr. Richard, our manager's office twice.  Huffing, I hail a cab to go back home, once I got seated, I can't help but think how am I supposed to break the news to my mother. It's been only three days!. I know how she's going to respond. Join your sister at the company and see how it goes and as much as I love how she cares about me, she just don't understand that I don't belong in that environment. I just don't fit in working in office and I don't see myself wearing tight pencil skirt, high heels and waking up early in the morning. It's just not me. As I reached our house, I paid the cab driver and hesitantly walk towards the front door. I just really hope she does not make me join Layla at the office. The moment I pushed the door open, there stood my beloved mother waiting at the front door with a cooking spoon clutched tightly at her hand. ''hey, momma'' I cheerfully greet her while placing a kiss on her cheek and as soon as I pull away, I tried to run for my room but my mother grabbed my arm preventing me from running away. This is it, I'm done. ''For goodness sake, Rosaline. Please tell me you still have the job'' She exclaimed with her lips pursed. ''Mama, it is not my fault this time, I promise'' I responded giving her my best puppy eyes. ''I don't get it, how do you always manage to get fired from your job?'' She responded back looking tired.  'I'm sorry. I promise I'll look for a job tomorrow'' I answered but she put her hands up stopping me. ''No, No. You'll go with Layla tomorrow at the company and take an interview, I gave you so many chance, more than I can remember but every single time the result is still the same so this time you'll listen to me.' She stated looking determined to send me to the company. ''Mama, no. You know how I feel about working in offices, plus I'm not qualified for it. There's no way they'll accept me''  I tried reasoning her but she just won't listen. ''Just give it a try and we'll see what happens. I didn't raised you to be a coward, Rosaline'' she said walking towards the kitchen to prepare dinner.  With my shoulders slumped down, I head upstairs to my bedroom wanting to curl into a ball and dread about what could possibly happen tomorrow.
