Adam POV:
I did this. I did this to her. I caused her pain and beacuse of my selfishness she suffered. When I marked her at Roberts house she arched her back and took a deep breath, like she hadn't been able to breath properly. Her body relaxed and every trace of pain or discomfort was gone in her beautiful face. I couldn't stop looking at her. I couldn't stop touching her. I held her close to me, unwilling to let her go.
"Why isn't she waking up?" I asked and looked at Robert.
"She will." Mandy answered. "When she is healed she will wake up. But she needs you close. The bond needs you to be together to heal properly."
