Chapter 7

749 Words
I wake up in my room, with no recollection of how I got there. The only thing I remember is walking in after school and passing out at the couch. I tried to wake up and let out a groan as pain shoots up my head. The headache has only gotten worse. I thought that sleeping will make it feel better but I was wrong. I gave up on trying to move and just lay on the bed until I drifted off again.  I was walking in a garden, this one was different from the one I was beginning to get familiar with. It had different shades of roses only. My favorite being the blue ones ,so I walked towards them. I squatted a bit when I got to them so I could inhale their scent when I caught movement at the corner of my eye. I got up and walked over to the path that led to the forest. "Hello? "I called out.  "Who's there?  You can come out. I won't hurt you. " I said. Then I chuckled a bit at myself. Here I am in the middle of the forest promising a wild animal that I won't hurt it . Real smooth Rory, real smooth. I thought. I was busy in with my thoughts that I almost didn't notice the panther that stood in front of me. Keyword being almost, because it was hard not to notice it. It was the same height as me at 5 foot I knew I was short, but now I feel tiny. I started to walk backwards trying to get out of its way.  With every step back that I took, it took one forward. It whined a bit when I took a step back. It got infront of me and kneeled down with its head on its paws. As if to show it won't hurt me. I finally got the courage to walk to it and kneeled down besides it. I started to pet it, it's jet black fur felt soft and fluffy  in my hands. It purred in satisfaction with what I was doing.  I should probably be scared shitless  right now but I'm not. I actually feel peaceful. Any normal person would have ran as if their pants were on fired. But I guess we've already figured out that I'm not normal. Not by a long shot. Our moment of solitude was interrupted when there was a snap behind me. He raised his head and looked around  ,then took off running into the woods. Again, any normal person would have walked away when that happened but since we all agreed that I ain't normal, I ran after him. I came to an abrupt stop at some kind of clearing when I could no longer see him.  I looked around for him but when I couldn't find I thing I turned to leave but ran into a big wall of muscle. S Shocks quickly travelled the length of my body from where we had contact. I looked up into the most amazing blue eyes I've ever seen. Eyes  like the ocean on a warm summer morning. Something about those eyes looked familiar but I couldn't place it. His stare held so much intensity and a lot of emotions passed through his face that I couldn't place them. I took a step back and looked at his body. He had on a pair of blue ripped jeans ,black sneakers and he was shirtless. I took a moment to appreciate his beauty . His lips looked so kissable that I found myself licking mine. My eyes travelled down the length of his body. By the look of the diamond shaped six pack, he probably worked out a lot.  I caught myself when I realised that I was practically eye f*****g the poor guy. I looked up again but the look on his face told me that he liked my ogling. I cleared my throat and asked the first thing that came to mind, "Who are you? " He looked at me and flashed an amazing smile my way. I'm pretty sure it was a definite panty dropping smile. He simply said, "Fate. " "What do you mean?" I asked.  "You'll find out soon enough." he said as he walked away. I stood there and just stared at him as he walked away. There wasn't much I could do as he disappeared from my sight of  vision. I wanted to run to him but my feet were rooted to the ground.
