chapter 6 - Traveling Complications

Ravens POV......

We have been driving non stop for almost five hours. Does he not get hungry or have to pee, or tired. Ahhh that's one question I haven't asked.

Blake are we not gonna make any stops to sleep. This is suppose to be a very long trip so wouldn't we need sleep here and there?

We will either camp or get a hotel in a few hours when it starts getting dark.

I nodded basically saying ok to his response. I was getting hungry and tired. I also was trying to be nice since I don't know what he is capable of. Normally I'd be a b***h till I got my way but something tells me he can be an asshole if he needs to be. So for now I am playing the nice and innocent card. Hopefully he can't see through the act.

After a few hours Blake announced that we will be stopping soon for a bathroom and food break and then we will find a place to sleep for the night. Hopefully somewhere warm since wherever we are it's a bit cold here. Looking out the window of the car I see a small town in the distance. It seems like a small town, hopefully they have a nice warm hotel with a different bed. My ass is sore from sitting so long, I definitely need to stretch and a break from being cooped up in this car.

We pulled up to a gas station, filled up the car with gas, got some food and drinks. Blake was talking to the cashier when I walked back to the car to wait for him. I leaned against the car and looked around at the cute little town with lots if trees surrounding it. I can hear little animals in the trees, most likely squirrels and rabbit's, then I heard a slight growling from behind me. I turn around to see what made the sound only to come face to face with a huge wolf, bigger then any normal wolf. I backed up scared as s**t that it would eat me in one bite. I screamed as loud as I could for blake, I didn't even realize he was already by the car so I ended up screaming in his ear.

Raven slowly get into the car, he said.

I did as told and got into the car. I watched Blake get closer to the wolf and then a bright flash of light appeared in front of Blake and the wolf exploded and all that was left was dust or ashes on the ground where the wolf once stood a moment ago. What the hell just happened? I looked at Blake with utter shock apparent on my face, he looked extremely tired all the sudden. I opened the door of the car, a million questions where on my mind but one was the only one I asked.

What the f**k just happened Blake? He just looked at me for a few minutes, saying nothing. Blake you need to tell me what happened or I'm leaving.

Raven, I can't tell you much but that was what is called a Rouge wolf. Ok so how did you kill it without any weapons or even going near it? I asked.

Ok, don't freak out please. I'll let you what I can but promise me you won't freak out.

I nodded and Saud I'll try my best, cause really that's all I could promise at the moment.

I have power's Raven, and so do you. Our families are very powerful. And most children that are from where we come from inherit there parents power's. I was able to kill that wolf with the magic laced into this.

He held up what looked like a wand from Harry Potter but way cooler looking. I don't know what to do with this information. If I hadn't seen it for myself just now I would think this guy is completely nuts. But I can't deny what I've just seen. But what I can't wrap my mind around is that he said that I have power's to. What????

Are you a which? Like some Harry Potter s**t or charmed s**t? I ask him with a little chuckle and shake of my head.

Not wanting to truly believe that I have any kind of power's.

No Raven, I am not a witch like Harry Potter or charmed. He said while laughing. Is he really laughing at me, what the f**k.

Don't laugh at me, I'm just trying to figure this all out and you're not helping, I said with anger. Well there goes my sweet and innocent act, oops.

Raven let's find a place to sleep for the night and I'll explain what I can, he said.

I nodded a yes and we got back into the car and headed towards a hotel. After getting settled in our room which unfortunately only has one bed, he offered to sleep on the floor but since he paid for everything I couldn't let him do that. So we ended up sharing the bed. I've got to say though at least he's sexy and quiet comfortable to lay next to.

He asked if he could explain things in rhe morning after some rest. I agreed since he looked pretty exhausted. I scooted a little closer to him to get more comfortable and as I was drifting off to sleep I felt his hand wrap around my waist. A small smile graced my lips as I slip into a deep sleep.
