Chapter 17: The indecisiveness.

356 Words
Rin's Point of View Everywhere Rin's eyes could reach, it was filled with dead trees and barren land. In the air, it had negative and devastating vibes. The chilly wind was blowing and Rin held her hair. She walked forward attempting to find a way out of this terrible place. She walked for an hour but still no sight of a normal land. "Wait, what do I mean by a normal land? The concept of normal that I have is something that has been ingrained into me by society. Maybe this is the "normal" environment. But what is this place and how do I get out of this." She walked for another hour but the environment did not change. She was not tired but she felt a pain in her chest. It was a heavy ache. A type of ache that felt like she had been ripped apart and every inch of her soul had been consumed. It was a type of ache that made her feel that she was better off dead. She stopped walking and sat down. She felt like she was lifeless. She felt like she was dying slowly. Rin woke up in tears. As soon as she remembered the dream, her breath became shallow and fast. She was starting to have a panic attack. She started crying more. She ran into her bathroom and sat in the bathtub. She cried a lot. At the same time, she hugged her knees and starting calming herself. This was partly due to the reason that she knew that the only person who was going to always be there for her was herself. She was planning to end it all but she wanted it to be a quick and easy death. Not like in her dream, dying slowly and by herself. Maybe some part of her still did not want to die. After a while, she started to calm down but she sat in her bathtub for a little while longer. She checked the time, it was 4 am. She no longer felt sleepy so she decided to stay in the bathtub until her alarm rang.
