Confusions and Shock

255 Words
Rin's Point of View As the realization hit her, she wanted some answers so she looked at Haru.  She opened her mouth and said, "Do you know what actually happened?" She noticed that Haru was a little confused. So she added, "About why I am here." Then she watched as Haru walked towards her and then sat down on the stool near her bed. He spoke, "I know that you jumped off a six storied building." Haru looked like he was contemplating on whether he should say something more than that. Rin noticed it but she did not wait for Haru to add to it. She had to know the reason.  So she spoke, "After falling from a six storied building, I did not die? How is this even possible?" Haru looked at her and then spoke after a short silence.  "It is true that you jumped from that height and that you should have probably died from it. The nurses and the doctors were also confused. The waitress of the café saw you jumping and I think they also have a CCTV footage of it. However, since you are alive, they have not disclosed the truth. They do not have answers to it. Neither do I and looking at you, it seems that you do not have it too. The hospital staffs have decided to put on your medical record that you were involved in a minor accident. That is what they told your father too." Rin could not believe what she was hearing.
