Aria's POV:
"What am I becoming?"
The question came out from my lips in a whisper.
Still clasped in Kael's warm hand, his thumb gently traced the glowing silver patterns showing across my skin. His golden eyes met mine.
"The woman you were always meant to be."
His voice was calm and certain. Still, it did nothing to silence the tempest within me.
I looked back on my hand once more. The silvery patterns shimmered like fluid moonlight under my skin before slowly fading until only faint traces were left.
"What are they?"
Kael hesitated.
"They are called Moon Marks."
Rowan came closer.
"They only seen on members of the Lunar Royal bloodline.
I swallowed hard.
"So... this proves everything?"
"It shows that your powers have started to awaken," Rowan answered softly.
I gazed at my
