I knew the moment we got to the neighborhood of the new students because all the houses were huge, some were a little bigger than a normal home, but others looked more like mansions.
“Geesh, how much money do you guys have?” I asked, turning from the window to look at Nico in shock.
“A bit.”
“A bit? More like a lot ...dang. I see what Lauren meant when she said that the houses over here are huge.”
“Most have well-paying jobs.”
“It shows,” I told him, turning back to look out the window. We pulled in to a driveway of one of the normal-looking homes.
“This is Rachel’s home,” Nico said, turning the car off. I got out of the car and headed to the front door with Nico close behind. “Door should be unlocked.”
