Nico’s POV
I watched as they drove off, then went back inside the house. They were arguing again over how dumb my twin was, and I agreed to be honest. He should know better, but of course he was thinking at the time with his downstairs brain instead of his upstairs brain.
Rachel saw me walking toward them. “Nico, how did she do that?”
“Yeah, she smells human, but she did an Alpha command. One that seemed to even affect you two,” Kat added, pointing to Dean and me.
“I don’t know how she did that but when she did it I felt her aura shift.”
“I felt that too, and it was strong,” Dean added.
“Are we 100% sure she’s human? She heals fast and what she just did makes me think she isn’t.”
“Cousin, I agree that some things about her are not human like, but I can’t explain it.”
